Father booked for repeatedly raping his two minor daughters in J&K’s RS Pura; POCSO case registered
In a shocking and inhuman incident, a cruel father has been booked by the police in the border town of R S Pura in Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly rapping his two minor, helpless daughters. The monster, who wore the face of a father, was sexually abusing his minor daughters for quite some time.
Ultimately, the mother of the helpless daughters came forward and lodged a written complaint before the R S Pura Police.
Station House Officer (SHO) R S Pura Tribhuwan Khajuria told International Business Times that a complaint in this regard has been received by the police from the mother of the minor girls. “After receiving the complaint, a team has been constituted to conduct a thorough probe into the allegations,” he said, adding, “The accused has been detained for questioning.”
The helpless mother has come forward with a harrowing accusation against her own husband, Makhan Lal. She alleged that her husband has repeatedly sexually abused and raped their two minor daughters, aged 11 and 6, inside the house.
The woman filed a formal complaint at the local police station, alleging that her husband, Makhan Lal, had been preying on the couple’s young daughters for an extended period.

The abuse, she said, took place within the walls of their shared home — the very place where the children should have felt safest. The accused allegedly used intimidation to silence the girls and continue his crimes unchecked.
Both children are now said to be in severe physical and psychological distress.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, RS Pura police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Makhan Lal under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with other relevant sections of the law.

A senior police officer confirmed the development, stating that a case has been registered and that investigators are currently examining the matter from all angles. “Strict action will be taken as per the law once the investigation is complete,” he said.
The case has sent shockwaves through the local community. Residents have expressed outrage, and child welfare advocates working in the region have raised their voices in unison — demanding the harshest punishment permitted under the law, and calling for stronger safeguards to protect children from abuse within their own homes.
For the two little girls at the center of this case, the road to healing will be long. But with the law now in motion, their mother’s courage in breaking the silence may yet deliver them justice.
