Congress leader Vinod Tiwari arrested by Delhi Police, action taken in case of controversial remarks on PM Modi

New Delhi. Chhattisgarh Congress’ PCC Joint General Secretary Vinod Tiwari has been arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly making controversial remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The police team detained him from Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the information, Vinod Tiwari had come to Kaushambi to attend a family function. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police team reached there and took him into custody and arrested him. It is being told that this action has been taken in a matter related to a post made on social media on February 3.

According to sources, a complaint had already been lodged regarding the said post, on the basis of which Delhi Police had started investigation. After investigation, the police team reached Kaushambi and arrested him.

At present, Delhi Police has taken Vinod Tiwari into custody and has started further legal process. After this action, the stir in political circles has also intensified and various reactions are coming to the fore regarding the matter.
