Dravid, Mithali and Gill will be honored at BCCI Awards 2026

New Delhi: After the conclusion of T20 World Cup, BCCI is preparing to honor its cricketers. The Board of Control for Cricket in India will organize the Naman Awards 2026 on March 15 in New Delhi. There is a lot of eagerness for this occasion among the cricketers as well as the fans.
In this ceremony, the best Indian international male and female cricketers for the year 2024-25 will be honored by BCCI with prestigious awards. BCCI has now also released the list of winners. During this, India’s world-winning head coach Rahul Dravid and women’s cricket legend Mithali Raj will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dravid and Mithali will get lifetime achievement award
At this annual felicitation ceremony, 1983 World Cup-winning team member and former BCCI president Roger Binny, as well as Rahul Dravid, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their extraordinary contributions. Apart from this, Mithali Raj will also be honored with this prestigious honour.
Five ICC trophy winning teams will be honored
In this ceremony, BCCI is going to honor five teams together for the first time. These five Indian teams have won ICC trophies, which include the Men’s Champions Trophy in 2025, the first Women’s ODI World Cup in 2025, the T20 World Cup in 2026, and the Under-19 Men’s and Women’s World Cup.
Special attention will be given to these names
Prominent names at the felicitation ceremony included Rahul Dravid, ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill, Smriti Mandhana, N Sri Charani, Harshit Rana, Dipti Sharma, and young talent 18-year-old Ayush Mhatre. All these players will be honored for their excellent performance.
