Following the conclusion of the application process, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the NEET correction window, which will remain active until 11:50 PM tonight, March 14, 2026. Today marks the final opportunity for students who made mistakes while filling out their applications to rectify those errors.

Know Which Fields Can Be Corrected
Correcting errors in the application form is a hassle-free process. Specifically, corrections are permitted in one of two fields: either the Father’s Name, Qualification, and Occupation; *or* the Mother’s Name, Qualification, and Occupation.

How Many Forms Have Been Submitted?
For your information, more than 22.60 lakh students across the country have applied for this examination. The NEET UG examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026. The exam will be held in a pen-and-paper mode, with the scheduled timing set from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Through this examination, admissions will be granted to MBBS and other medical courses offered by government and private medical colleges across the country. In total, approximately 1,29,000 MBBS seats are currently available nationwide.
