Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra concludes, gift of Rs 330 crore to Begusarai; Launch of 402 schemes
Bihar News: The last day of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ was much talked about in Begusarai district of Bihar. During this period, the Chief Minister gave many big gifts of development to the district. The Chief Minister gifted 402 development schemes worth about Rs 330 crore to Begusarai, which is known as the industrial capital.
There was an atmosphere of excitement in the city
An atmosphere of enthusiasm was seen in the city during the program. A large number of people came from Gandhi Maidan to Biada Complex to welcome the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many schemes. Also laid the foundation stone of the long awaited ‘Campa Cola’ factory. It is expected that this will give new impetus to industrial development in the district.
The bull suddenly reached the helipad
Before the Chief Minister’s program, an interesting and somewhat shocking development also came to light. Before the landing of the Chief Minister’s helicopter, security arrangements were being reviewed. Meanwhile, a bull suddenly entered inside the helipad. On seeing the bull, the policemen present there tried to take it out, but the bull suddenly became furious and chased the policemen away. For some time there was an atmosphere of chaos around the helipad.
Controlled after hard work
The bull kept running here and there continuously, due to which the security personnel had to struggle a lot to control it. Eventually, with the help of police and local people, the bull was thrown out of the helipad. After this the security arrangements became normal and the program proceeded as per schedule.
Lalu family targeted in public meeting
While addressing the public meeting organized in Begusarai, the Chief Minister targeted the opposition and especially the family of Lalu Prasad Yadav. He said that before the year 2005, the law and order situation in Bihar was not good. At that time people did not have confidence in security and there was an atmosphere of crime.
control on communal riots
The Chief Minister said that in those times people were afraid to come out of the house in the evening. But after his government came to power, law and order was strengthened and today the situation has become much better. Nitish Kumar further said that earlier Hindu-Muslim riots used to occur frequently in the state, but his government got the cemeteries cordoned off and later also built the boundaries of the temples. The Chief Minister claimed that due to these steps, there is now peace in the state and conflicts have almost ended.
Gift of Rs 330 crore to Begusarai
During the Samriddhi Yatra, the Chief Minister launched 402 schemes worth a total of Rs 330 crore in Begusarai. Of these, the foundation stone of 190 schemes worth Rs 118.67 crore was laid, while 212 schemes worth Rs 211.97 crore were inaugurated. These projects include road construction, infrastructure, public facilities and other development works. The government believes that with the completion of these schemes, development in the district will get a new impetus and people will get better facilities.

Also visited factories
During the programme, the Chief Minister also visited industrial projects and factories. After this his next program is scheduled in Sheikhpura. From there the Chief Minister will return to Patna. The government is linking this visit of the Chief Minister with development and industrial progress. It is expected that the schemes announced in Begusarai will give a new direction to the economic and industrial development of the district.
