Preparations for the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s new film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is now all set for release. This spy thriller is directed by Aditya Dhar, and is censored by the Irish Film Classification Office. The film received a ‘Strong’ rating, particularly for violence, harmful behavior and language. Sex and nudity are rated ‘Moderate’, making it 18+ (Adults Only). This indicates that the film will feature intense action and brutal scenes.
Countdown for the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ begins
The film has been certified on 12 March 2026 on the website of the Irish Censor Board. It was submitted by distributor Moviegoers. It is written in the comment – ”Strong bloody violence and graphic injury detail”. The first part ‘Dhurandhar’ was also given 18+ rating by the British Board. Most importantly, the length of the film is 235 minutes (3 hours 55 minutes), which is about 21 minutes more than the first part.
Dhurandhar was already one of the longest films of Indian cinema, but ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has left it behind. It may become the longest mainstream Indian film of the 21st century. The film will be released worldwide on March 19, 2026, while the paid premiere in India will take place on March 18 in the evening. It is releasing along with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid-ul-Fitr.
Cast and story of the film
After the success of the first part, fans are eagerly waiting for the sequel. Along with Ranveer Singh, actors like Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera and Danish Pandor are also there. Aditya Dhar has written, co-produced and directed it. The production is done by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
