A video of young player Prashant Veer, who was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 14.20 crore, is going viral on social media, in which he is seen learning Tamil from his sister before the season. In this viral clip, Veer can be seen speaking a few Tamil sentences after receiving instructions from his sister via video message.
The five-time champions surprised many by spending Rs 14.20 crore on the 20-year-old all-rounder from Uttar Pradesh and now it will be up to Veer to do justice to the big price tag.
