Revenge of air strike, 14 Pakistani soldiers killed in Afghanistan’s retaliatory attack

Afghanistan has threatened to retaliate against Pakistan’s air strike. As such, this time, Kabul started a retaliatory attack. The Afghan Ministry of Defense said that 14 soldiers of the Pakistani army were killed in a retaliatory attack targeting a Pakistani army base on the Durand Line. All in all, it is believed that the ongoing conflict between the two countries is going to take a more serious shape.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan, in response to the attack by Pakistan, the Afghan army recently launched an attack in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces east of the Durand Line. 14 Pakistani soldiers died in this army operation. Besides, 11 others were injured. An army tank and a foreign vehicle were completely destroyed. According to Afghanistan, this operation is a response to Pakistan’s attack. Apart from this, according to the media report, 4 members of a family died and 3 people were injured in this operation.

The attack was carried out by the Afghan army in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces east of the Durand Line. 14 Pakistani soldiers died in this army operation. Besides, 11 others were injured.

It should be noted that Pakistan and Afghanistan have been involved in a bloody conflict since last month. Pakistan alleges that Afghanistan is harboring several militant groups including the TTP. Airstrikes were carried out in Afghanistan to eliminate them. In response to continuous Pakistani attacks, the Afghan army attacked across the Pakistani border on the night of February 26. The Taliban administration also claims that at least 12 Pakistani posts have come under the control of Afghanistan. 55 Pakistani soldiers died. In response to that attack, Pakistan attacked several areas of Afghanistan. That attack is still ongoing.

This week, Pakistan again attacked several provinces including Kabul, Kandahar. Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed, ‘Innocent citizens have been targeted. Many people died in the incident.’ On the other hand, Islamabad claims that the main aim of the airstrikes was to eliminate the militants. The Taliban government has long hosted many militant groups. Those terrorists are bleeding Pakistan again and again. This operation was carried out to eliminate them. However, the Taliban rejected this demand of Islamabad. In turn, they have informed that they will be repulsed soon. This time, Afghanistan started a counter attack against Pakistan.
