Chief Minister gave the gift of works worth Rs 243 crore in Katni visit

Barhi/Katni:. Madhya Pradesh. State Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made several important announcements during his stay in Barhi on Saturday, gifting development works worth more than Rs 243 crore to the area. The Chief Minister announced to conduct a re-survey for the establishment of a medical college and housing schemes in the district. During this, he made a sharp attack on the previous Congress government and said that the previous governments did not do enough work for the development of the state, which the present government is now rapidly compensating for.
While addressing the public meeting of lakhs of farmers, the Chief Minister said that no eligible family will be deprived of housing facility, for this, instructions have been given for a fresh survey. With the aim of strengthening the health facilities in the district, he made the establishment of a medical college his priority. Also, while outlining the total development schemes worth about Rs 1000 crore, he talked about organizing ‘Krishi Mahotsav’ for the farmers.
Irrigation project will change the fate of 11 thousand farmers.
Farmers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on getting the Cabinet approval for the much awaited Barhi Micro Lift Irrigation Project (cost ₹ 566.92 crore) of the area.
Praising Sanjay Pathak, the CM said that the huge crowd that has gathered here today and all the work that has been announced for this area is being possible only due to the hard work and efforts of Pathak ji.
The Chief Minister said this project will irrigate 20,000 hectares of land in 27 villages of Barhi and Vijayraghavgarh tehsils. Due to which: About 11,000 farmers will directly get water for farming.
Grand gratitude rally amidst huge crowd.
The Chief Minister received an unprecedented welcome in the one kilometer long gratitude rally that started from Bada Talab to Vijaynath Dham Temple. Khajuraho MP and Vijay Garh MLA Sanjay Satyendra Pathak were riding on the chariot along with the Chief Minister. : Traders, advocate associations, sportspersons and social organizations set up stalls at 14 places and showered flowers on routes like Chowk Bazaar and Kamania Gate. This welcome was done under the leadership of MLA Sanjay Pathak.

The Chief Minister clarified that the aim of the government is to take the farmers away from traditional farming towards modern and profitable agriculture. The proposed inauguration and bhoomi pujan work worth Rs 243 crore will provide new strength to the local infrastructure.
