Manisha Chauhan scored the only goal for the Indian team in the 40th minute. The first quarter of the semi-final was very tight. Both teams struggled for possession in the midfield. Manisha Chauhan (40th minute) delivered a powerful drag-flick into the center of the field and successfully penetrated Italy’s defence. India got two more penalty corners in the opening minutes of the last quarter. In the last stages of the match, the team tried to increase its lead.
