Light rain in Delhi-NCR
The Meteorological Department has warned that Delhi-NCR may remain partly cloudy on Sunday and light rain or drizzle may occur in some areas. Due to this, a slight drop in temperature may be seen. However, due to strong sunlight during the day, the effect of heat will be felt. According to the forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 33-34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 21-22 degrees Celsius. There may be some respite from light winds along with bright sunshine on Sunday, but heat and humidity may be felt in the afternoon.
Weather in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, heat will increase in Rajasthan
The weather is expected to be mostly clear in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. In these states, the effect of heat will be felt due to increase in temperature during day time. However, there may be partly cloudy sky at some places. The temperature may reach around 40 degrees Celsius in many areas of western Rajasthan. Due to this, common people may feel more effects of heat.
Rain and snowfall in hilly areas
Weather patterns will remain changed in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy in many areas and there is a possibility of light rain at some places or snowfall in high altitude areas. Due to this change, coldness may increase in mountainous areas. Tourists and locals have been advised to be cautious of strong winds and rain.
The weather in Mumbai will be hot and humid. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 36-37 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 24-25 degrees Celsius. Sea winds may provide some relief in the evening, but the effect of high humidity and heat will remain during the day. There is a possibility of light cloud cover and local drizzle in the coastal cities of Maharashtra.
The weather will be hot and humid in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh South India. There is also a possibility of light rain or drizzle in some coastal areas. People will experience more heat and humidity due to strong sunlight during the day, especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Some relief from sea winds is expected in the evening.
