Bhagalpur. Many big projects are being worked on to strengthen the road infrastructure in Bihar. In this series, news of great relief has come to the people of Bhagalpur city. In view of the increasing problem of traffic jam in the city, a plan has been prepared to build a new four-lane road from Lohiyapul to Aliganj Bypass. The construction of this road will not only ease the traffic in the city but will also improve the connectivity of many surrounding areas.
The road will be about 4 kilometers long
Under the proposed plan, about 4 kilometer long four lane road will be constructed from Lohiyapul to Aliganj Bypass. Later this road will connect to Jagdishpur bypass and then establish connection with Bhaljor four lane. Apart from this, this route will also be connected to Munger-Mirzachowki four lane. In this way, this road will ease the traffic of the city by connecting many important routes.
There will be great relief from traffic jam
The number of vehicles in Bhagalpur city is continuously increasing, due to which long traffic jams occur on many main roads. Especially on the road leading from Lohiyapul to Aliganj bypass, people often have to face traffic problems. After the construction of the new four-lane road, the traffic pressure on this route will reduce and people’s journey will become easier and faster.
cost around 50 crores
This road project is estimated to cost around Rs 50 crore. Under the plan, a divider of about 1 meter wide will also be made in the middle of the road, which will make the traffic more safe and orderly.
Technical obstacles were coming earlier
Some technical problems were encountered in the beginning of this project. There was a hindrance in the construction work due to the electric poles installed on the roadside. However, now after consensus has been reached between the concerned departments, work has been started to resolve these problems.
Construction may be completed by December
If everything goes as per plan, it is expected that the construction of this four-lane road will be completed by December. Once it is completed, a major improvement can be seen in the traffic system in Bhagalpur city.
