Katni/Barhi:. Describing the huge ‘Krishi Mahotsav’ organized in Barhi of Vijayraghavgarh assembly as a milestone for the development of the area, MLA Sanjay Pathak has termed it an unprecedented success. MLA Pathak said that due to the visit of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the area has got the gift of development works worth more than ₹ 1000 crore, which will change the picture of the entire region in the coming times.

Attendance of more than two lakh:
A large crowd gathered at the program to express their gratitude to the Chief Minister. According to estimates, around 2 lakh people participated in the festival, which shows the confidence and enthusiasm of the public towards the region.
Gift of Irrigation Scheme: The Chief Minister announced and laid the foundation stone of many big projects including Barhi-Vijaypur Lift Irrigation Scheme. MLA Pathak said that thousands of acres of land of farmers will be irrigated through these schemes.
Historic welcome:
This was the first time in the history of Barhi when such a large number of farmers and villagers gathered together. Seeing the affection of the people of the area, the Chief Minister also assured to further accelerate the pace of development.
