The biggest reason for this is the strong direction of the film’s director Aditya Dhar, who had impressed the audience a lot from the first film itself. This is why many big stars have expressed their desire to work with him in the future.
However, very few people know that Anil Kapoor could also have been seen in this film. Director Aditya Dhar offered him a cameo role in the film, but the actor rejected the offer. In a recent interview, Anil Kapoor himself told the real reason behind this decision.
Cameo rejected due to dates
Anil Kapoor told that Aditya Dhar had approached him to do a small cameo in Dhurandhar 2. However, at that time his dates had already been given to another filmmaker. In such a situation, he refused to work in the film, giving priority to professional commitments.
Anil Kapoor said, “Aditya wanted me to do a small cameo in the film. I would have loved to do this role, but I was already committed to some other project. Whatever I am today is because of my commitment and professionalism. Talent alone is not enough.”
He further said that the film was going to be great and it would be a loss for him to leave it, but he did not want to go back on his promise.
Hope to work together in future
Anil Kapoor also said that he would definitely like to work with Aditya Dhar in future. He believes that professionalism is very important in the industry and if he has given his dates for any other film then he should keep the same promise.
