Ayodhya Premier League T20: Chambal defeated Betwa, Abhishek and Amit were man-of-the-match

Ayodhya, Read: In the Ayodhya Premier League T-20 league matches played on Friday, the match had to be stopped due to disrupted power supply and Duckworth-Lewis rule was resorted to. In this, Ganga Warriors team won over Hindon Titan by seven wickets. In the second match, Chambal Challengers won over Betwa Blasters and secured full points. ADM Gajendra Kumar and RSO Varanasi Vimala Singh awarded Abhishek and Amit as man-of-the-match.

Two league matches were played on Friday on the third day of the APL T-20 being run under the auspices of UPCA at the cricket stadium located at Dr. Ambedkar International Sports Complex in Dabhasemer. In the first match between Ganga Warriors and Hindon Titan, time was lost due to technical reasons. Due to which Duckworth rule was imposed. In this, Ganga team won by seven wickets as per rules. Ganga team won the toss and chose to field. Batting first, Hindon team scored 146 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs. In this, Vikas contributed 41 runs and Kushagra contributed 33 runs. Vishal Yadav of Ganga team bowled brilliantly and took three important wickets and was the man-of-the-match. In reply, while batting, Ganga Warriors achieved the target by losing three wickets in the stipulated time limit as per Duckworth rule and won by seven wickets. Ayush of Hindon team took two wickets and Akash took one wicket.

In the second match, Betwa Blasters team won the toss and invited Chambal Chargers to bat. Chambal team scored 183 runs losing all the wickets in 19.1 overs. In this, Amit contributed 38 runs, Ankur 27, Anuj 24 and Vikas contributed 22 runs. Betwa’s Krishna took three wickets, Dhananjay took two wickets, Ashutosh and Anshuman took one wicket each. In reply, Betwa team, who came to bat, was reduced to 140 runs after losing nine wickets in 20 overs. Anshuman 24, Amar 22, Krishna 21, Vikas 20 scored runs. Saurabh, Abhishek and Rudransh of Chambal took two wickets each, Amit and Sachin took one wicket each. Amit was man-of-the-match. On this occasion, DCA District Secretary Umer Ahmed, Organizing Joint Secretary Bal Kishan Nishad, officials and sports lovers were present.
