Order to investigate the disputed question case in UP Police SI recruitment exam
Lucknow: A political controversy has gained momentum regarding a question and its option in the SI recruitment examination of Uttar Pradesh Police held on Saturday in Uttar Pradesh. Actually the question asked in the paper was to answer in one word as per the occasion. Pandit option was also given in the options. BJP and the constituent parties of the UP government have also expressed objection to this option.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak expressed his displeasure
UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has expressed his displeasure over the option of this controversial question by sharing a post on X. He said on Twitter that we have strong objection to the options given for a question in the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination. The government has taken serious cognizance. If any question hurts the dignity of any society or class then it is absolutely not acceptable. I want to say clearly that words derogatory towards any caste, community or tradition should have no place.
Order to investigate the matter
Brajesh Pathak also said that instructions have been given to immediately investigate this entire matter. Strict action will be taken against those responsible. The Government of Uttar Pradesh works on the principle of respect, equality and sensitivity of all societies. The dignity of every citizen of the state is our top priority.
At the same time, after the uproar over the questions asked in the SI Inspector recruitment examination being held across the state, the Recruitment Board has now ordered an investigation into the matter. The board says that to maintain the sanctity of the examination, no official of the recruitment board can see the questions.
Abhijat Mishra said this
At the same time, former General Secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha Abhijat Mishra says that the way this question has been framed and the word Pandit has been targeted again. Which will not be accepted at all. In the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, I request the Chief Minister, those who have prepared the question paper with this mentality. Strict action should be taken against them. He should also be sent to jail. As Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has said, I also want that strict action should be taken against such people. Every caste has worked a lot for the independence of the country. Among them, Brahmins also have a huge credit and contribution.
