Singapore falls behind Bangkok, Shanghai in ranking of world’s 50 best cities

The magazine recommends visitors check out Kada, a century-old heritage building that has been transformed into a hub for independent cafés and wellness studios.

It also highlights the city’s growing lineup of daytime parties, matcha raves and sing-along clubs, many of them led by local collectives such as Wild Pearl, GrooveTop and Culture.

Even suburban malls are joining the trend: Lentor Modern, for instance, opened with attention-grabbing concepts including Bunny’s, a wagyu burger joint that has quickly become a local favorite, Time Out wrote.

Melbourne in Australia has been named the best city in the world, followed by China’s Shanghai.

Thailand’s Bangkok, a popular tourism hub in Southeast Asia, ranked 8th.

Japan’s Tokyo rounded out the top 10.
