Mobile recharge done on wrong number? Now you can get your money back sitting at home…

Tezzbuzz Desk- If while recharging your mobile you accidentally recharge it on some other number, then there is no need to panic. Now Reliance Jio is giving its users a chance to get a refund in such a situation. You can try to get your money back through a special process, but for this it is necessary to follow certain conditions and it is also very important to take care of the time.

This facility is available exclusively through MyJio app. If you have done recharge through this app and have accidentally recharged on the wrong number, then you can cancel it and send a request for refund. However, this process has to be completed within two hours of recharging. After this the possibility of refund reduces considerably.

What to do for refund?

For refund, first open MyJio app and type Recharge History in the search bar. Here you will see your recent recharge. On going into the recharge details, in many cases the option related to Cancel Recharge or Refund is available. By clicking on it, you have to choose the reason, like recharging on wrong number, choosing wrong plan or getting recharged by mistake by the child. After this the request can be submitted and the money can be returned within a few days.

However, this facility is not available in every situation. If the number on which you have recharged is also a Jio number and that recharge has not been used yet, then the chances of getting a refund are higher. However, if the recharge data or calling has already been used, it may be difficult to get the money back.

Apart from this, the company also sees whether the mistake is genuine or not. If there is a difference of only one or two digits in the number, it is usually genuine mistake It is believed that the process can be done quickly. But if such requests are sent again and again, the system does not accept them. So it is always better to check the number and plan carefully while recharging.
