New Delhi. The fifth PSPB Baba Deep Singh Hockey Invitation Tournament (Men and Women) will be held from March 16 to 24. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College of Delhi University organizes this tournament every year.
The competition will be inaugurated by Lalit Vats, Advisor, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB). Professor Sarita Tyagi, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Delhi University, will be the chief guest. Professor Gurmohinder Singh, Principal of the host Khalsa College will also be present on this occasion.
According to Inderpreet Kaur, Director of Khalsa College, this tournament will be held at inter college level in men’s and women’s category. 7 teams are participating in men’s hockey and 4 teams are participating in women’s hockey category. In both the categories, this league will be in a cum knockout format. The final will be played between the top two teams of the pool.
