Actress Zarine Khan expressed her pain, said- producer kept demanding kissing scenes and topless scenes from her

Mumbai Zarine Khan, who made her Bollywood debut with Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan Salman Khan in ‘Veer’, was compared to Katrina Kaif. However, Zarine’s career was not as successful as Katrina’s. While she was also a part of commercial films like ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Hate Story 3’, ‘Aksar 2’ released in 2017 later got embroiled in controversies. Zarine claims that she was not even invited to the premiere of her own film.

Recently, during a conversation with Pooja Bhatt on Mammoth Media Asia Podcast, Zarine Khan discussed the issue in detail. Recalling the period after ‘Hate Story 3’, he said that after doing ‘Hate Story’ many people, especially people from the film industry, started looking down on me.

They used to say, ‘Because she can’t act, she decided to take off her clothes.’ Recalling her first meeting with Ananth Mahadevan, Zarine said that the makers had initially pitched the project as a stylish noir film. He was assured that it would not have bold scenes like ‘Hate Story 3’. He narrated the script in very simple English and said that we are not making any hate story. We are creating a genre noir. I thought, okay. But as soon as I reached the set, every other scene would either end with a kiss or suddenly I would be asked to wear a bra or something like that. The makers deliberately started asking for kissing or intimacy scenes in every second scene.

The actress further said that I told her, ‘I have no problem in doing intimate scenes, but you gave me a completely different brief. Now just because you have seen that movie, you want to connect all this. Later I realized that the director was spineless. He would tell one version of the story to the producers and another to me and my costume designer Shahid Aamir. As the film progressed, differences of opinion increased between the team members. Suddenly the makers started asking me to do bra scene, kissing scene or something provocative in almost every scene. That too only because I had done such a film earlier. This is not right.

That’s why the film was completed

Read :- Before the West Bengal Assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee made a big play, increased the allowance of priests and imams and announced DA for government employees.

However, despite the increasing tension, Zareen completed the film. He says that I am not one to throw tantrums. I know people’s money is at stake, so I always try to find a middle path by negotiating. But by the time the film was completed, the situation had worsened so much that I was not even invited to the screening of my own film. Zareen also alleged that media reports at the time had wrongly portrayed him as a difficult person to work with.

Zareen was last seen in ‘Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele’ in 2021.

Zarine Khan was last seen in the 2021 film ‘Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele’. Earlier, she was seen in ‘Daka’ (2019) and ‘Aksar 2’ (2017). At present there is no information about any of his upcoming projects.
