German luxury car maker Audi has launched its new performance SUV Bookings for the Audi SQ8 in India have started even before its official launch. The company will officially launch this powerful SUV on March 17, 2026. Customers who want to buy this premium SUV can pre-book it by paying a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The booking facility has been made available on the company’s official website as well as through the myAudi Connect app.
In fact, the Audi SQ8 will be introduced as the more sporty and performance-oriented model in the company’s Q8 line-up. The SUV will be positioned between the standard Audi Q8 and the top-spec Audi RS Q8. Its official price will be announced during the launch event which will be held in Delhi.

Powerful engine and great performance
The new Audi SQ8 is designed as a high-performance SUV. The SUV is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 TFSI petrol engine. This engine produces around 500hp of power and 770Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It also gets Audi’s famous quattro all-wheel-drive system, effectively sending power to all four wheels. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds, according to the company’s claim. Its top speed is limited to 250 km/h. It also features advanced technology like adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering for a better driving experience.

A more sporty appeal in design
The design of the Audi SQ8 has been kept more aggressive, attractive and sporty compared to the standard Q8. It features larger air intakes, S-specific badging, matte silver exterior elements and quad exhaust tips. Apart from this, the oversized alloy wheels make its look more powerful. The coupe-style design gives this SUV a dual identity of being premium and sporty at the same time.
The interior is decorated with premium and technology
The cabin of the Audi SQ8 is also designed in a very premium and modern manner. It uses Alcantara and leather upholstery. Two 12.3-inch screens are provided on the dashboard. One of these is used for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, this SUV is also equipped with many luxury features like panoramic sunroof, head-up display, electric adjustable seats, heating, ventilation and massage function.
