Invest in Punjab, the government will give you full support and concessions – Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann

Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, while addressing the industrialists at the concluding ceremony of the Progressive Punjab Investors Conference held in Mohali, said that the Punjab government is fully committed to increasing investment and promoting industries in the state. He said that the government will provide all possible support and facilities to the industries, so that Punjab can move towards rapid economic development.

Many big industrialists and investors participated

This three-day long conference was organized in SAS Nagar (Mohali), in which many big industrialists and investors from India and abroad participated. The Chief Minister said that this conference has created a positive environment for investment in Punjab and this will give a new impetus to the economy of the state. He also announced that a special review meeting will be held after six months to review the progress of the investment proposals and projects received at the conference.

30 different sessions were organized

The Chief Minister thanked the industry representatives and said that it was only because of their cooperation and trust that this conference became successful. He said that industrialists are continuously coming forward to invest in Punjab, which will boost the socio-economic development of the state. He said that around 30 different sessions were organized during the conference, in which industrial development, new technologies, startups and investment opportunities were discussed. These discussions will encourage expansion of industries and new projects in the state. He said that this will also create new employment opportunities for the youth.

Conference is very important for youth

CM Mann said that such investment conferences are very important for the youth of the state, because it increases employment opportunities and gives the youth a chance to build a better future in their own state. The aim of the government is to channel the energy of the youth in a positive direction and provide them with better employment opportunities. He also said that the people of Punjab are hardworking and enterprising. This is the reason why Punjabis have created their own identity in every field in the country and abroad. He said that entrepreneurs from Punjab have achieved success across the world with their hard work and talent.

Mentioned the rich heritage of Punjab

Referring to the rich heritage and culture of the state, the Chief Minister said that Punjab is known across the world for its hospitality, hard work and courage. He said that this earth is the land of great gurus, saints and martyrs, who have inspired us to stand against injustice and serve the country.

Mann government is working on transparent policies

The Chief Minister said that the Punjab government is working on transparent and positive policies to promote industries in the state. The government, in collaboration with industrialists, wants to develop Punjab as a major industrial center of the country. For this, special attention is being given to ease of doing business and better infrastructure.

Focus on creating more employment

CM said that the main objective of the state government is to generate maximum employment for the youth. Development of industries will create new employment opportunities and the economy of the state will also strengthen. Appealing to the industrialists, he said that they should become ambassadors of Punjab and convey the specialties of the state to other industrialists of the country and the world. He said that Punjab has favorable environment, skilled human resources and better infrastructure for setting up industries.

The Chief Minister praised all the officers and employees associated with the event for successfully organizing the conference. He said that with the cooperation of the government and the industry, Punjab will soon move forward on the path of rapid industrial development. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora, Harbhajan Singh ETO and Barinder Goyal, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha and other senior officials were also present.
