UP Weather Changes: U-turn of weather in UP, cold strong winds in Lucknow and surrounding districts, rain in these areas
Lucknow. Strong winds started blowing in UP since Sunday morning due to which the weather has suddenly changed. There has also been light rain in the capital Lucknow and its surrounding districts late night. It started drizzling with strong winds and the sky was covered with dense clouds. The weather has become pleasant due to light rain with thunder and a feeling of pink cold has also started. The Meteorological Department had already issued a forecast of changing weather from Sunday morning. On the other hand, many districts of western UP received good rain in the morning. It rained in many areas of Ghaziabad, Noida and Hapur districts.

According to the forecast issued by the Lucknow Center of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of hailstorm along with thunderstorm in the state.

There were dark clouds in Amroha since this morning and it rained with strong wind. The weather has become cool due to intermittent drizzle. However, due to rain and strong wind, farmers are worried about the wheat and mustard crops which are on the verge of ripening. While on one hand the weather has become pleasant in Etah district this morning due to strong winds and drizzle and drop in temperature, on the other hand farmers producing wheat and tobacco are worried seeing the changing weather.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, due to the effect of active western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain for the first time this season in the Terai areas of the state as well as some parts of Purvanchal from March 15. Along with this, there is also a possibility of a slight drop in the temperature. Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that the period of decline in temperature which crossed 40 degrees on Friday has started from Saturday and is likely to continue till Tuesday. On Saturday, a drop of one to three degrees was recorded at many places in the state. The temperature is expected to drop further on Sunday. The highest temperature of 38.4 degrees was recorded in Banda in the state. At second place, the maximum temperature in Orai was 36.8 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the drop in temperature will continue on Sunday also. There is a possibility of light rain in western Uttar Pradesh and Terai region on Sunday and Monday.
