National Lok Adalat organized, total 94818 cases disposed in Lok Adalat

As per the orders of Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and as per the instructions of District Judge Ramsulin Singh, President District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra, National Lok Adalat was organized by District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra on 14.03.2026. Which was inaugurated by the District Judge/Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra in the premises of District Court, Sonbhadra.
On this occasion, Rachana Arora Principal Judge Family Court, Sonbhadra, Ashok Kumar Ninth Presiding Officer MACT Court, Sonbhadra, Amit Veer Singh Special Judge (POCSO) Sonbhadra, Jitendra Kumar Dwivedi First Additional District Judge Sonbhadra, Archana Rani Additional District Judge/FTC/CAW Sonbhadra, Shailendra Yadav Additional District Judge/FTC/14 9th Finance Commission, Sonbhadra, Alok Yadav, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amit Kumar-3rd District Judge CD, Yadvendra Singh District Judge CD/FTC, Rahul Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra and all others.

Judicial officer and Ashok Srivastava President, Sonbhadra Bar Association, Jagjivan Singh President District Bar Association and other advocates were present. The District Judge inspected the stalls set up by the banks and encouraged the bank representatives present there and called upon the bank representatives to resolve the cases by providing benefits to maximum number of common people.
The specific subjects in the said National Lok Adalat are criminal compoundable suits, suits under Section 138 NI Act, bank recovery suits, motor accident compensation petitions, family suits, labor suits, land acquisition suits, electricity and water bills (excluding non-compoundable), disputes related to salary and allowances in service and retirement benefits, revenue suits (only suits pending in the Hon’ble High Court and District Courts), others. Cases related to civil suits (rent, easement, injunction, specific relief suits) as well as amicable pre-litigation cases were also settled on the basis of settlement agreement.

Cases 76 amount 750, Muralidhar Singh, Special Judicial Magistrate I, Sonbhadra, cases disposed of 21 amount, 10400, Yamuna Shankar Pandey, Special Judicial Magistrate-II, Sonbhadra, cases disposed of, 33 amount, Rs. 15000, thus a total of 3618 cases were disposed of by the above courts, whose fine and settlement amount It was Rs 48575105.
Apart from this, a total of 90553 cases of pending cases and pre-litigation cases were resolved in all the revenue courts, other courts and other departments of the district, whose fine and settlement amount was Rs 196783509 and a total of 647 cases of private and public banks were resolved whose settlement amount was Rs 29404330.
Thus, a total of 94818 cases were finally resolved in the National Lok Adalat held on 14.03.2026, the total settlement amount of which was Rs 274762944.
A total of 153 cases of Petty Offenses were disposed of in the Special Lok Adalat held on 11.03.2026, 12.03.2026 and 13.03.2026 in continuation of the National Lok Adalat. The above information was given by Rahul Civil Judge CD/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra.
