New Delhi. Professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad of Sonipat based Ashoka University has got a big relief in the case of controversial post on social media related to Operation Sindoor. The Haryana government decided not to grant permission to prosecute him, after which the Supreme Court closed the case. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju Pesh, appearing on behalf of the Haryana government before the bench of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, said that in a one-time gesture of generosity, the state government has closed the case against Ali Khan Mahmudabad.
