‘Not us, our child will contest elections’, Anant Singh leaving politics for Nitish

Anant Singh, one of the most talked about MLAs of Bihar politics for two decades, may now leave politics. He has announced that he will not contest the elections now. This is his last term as MLA. He has said that he is handing over his political legacy to his children.

Anant Singh is counted among the powerful MLAs of Bihar. Many serious cases of murder are going on against him. He is in jail in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. This statement of Anant Singh, who came to take part in voting for Rajya Sabha elections, is now in discussion.

Anant Singh had already announced

Anant Singh had earlier also said that as long as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is there in Bihar politics, he will do politics only. If he retires, Anant Singh will also leave politics. After casting his vote in the Rajya Sabha elections, Anant Singh said that this was his last election. Now he will not contest any election in future.

Will hand over inheritance to son

Anant Singh has said that his elder son will now enter politics and contest elections. Anant Singh has been associated with JDU. He claims that it was Nitish Kumar who took him forward in politics. Anant Singh has been continuously winning from Mokama. Sometimes he would go to jail, sometimes he would come out of jail.

 

 

Nomination was done without ticket distribution

Anant Singh had filed nomination from JDU only when Nitish Kumar had not announced the ticket. Rashtriya Janata Dal had fielded Veena Devi, wife of Baahubali Suraj Bhan, against Anant Singh. She lost her election.
