Name of Salman’s ‘Battle of Galwan’ changed, now this will be the new title

Desk: Salman Khan has been in the news for a long time about his upcoming film ‘Battle of Galwan’. This film is based on the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley in the year 2020, in which Salman plays Colonel B. Playing the role of Santosh Babu. Salman’s fans are also eagerly waiting for this film. However, now a big information has come to light regarding this film. Actually, now this film will not be released in the name of ‘Battle of Galwan’. The title of the film has been changed.

The name of ‘Battle of Galwan’ has been changed to ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’. This means that now Salman’s film will be released in the name of ‘Matribhumi’. Salman Khan himself gave this information by sharing a post on social media on March 16. Chitrangada Singh will also be seen along with Salman in this film directed by Apoorva Lakhia.




  • This year, two days before Republic Day i.e. on 24th January, Salman had released a song of this film, whose title was also ‘Mathrubhoomi’. This is a patriotic song, which has been sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Lyrics have been written by Sameer Anjaan and music is by Himesh Reshammiya. Now Salman has given the name of this song to his film.

    This film was scheduled to release on 17 April. However, some time ago it was said in a report that this film has been postponed from its scheduled date. No official information has been revealed about this at the moment, but it is being said that the film will not be released on April 17. The issue regarding the release date still seems to be stuck. Salman has also shared a poster revealing the new title of the film, but there is no information regarding the release date in it either.
