Himayani Puri, daughter of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, has filed a defamation case in the Delhi High Court. They have demanded removal of online news, posts, videos and other content containing allegations related to Jeffrey Epstein. Himayani has sought damages of Rs 10 crore. He has asked companies like X, Google, Meta (Facebook-Instagram) and LinkedIn that if similar false and defamatory allegations come to his notice in future, they should be removed immediately. This case may be listed for hearing in the court soon, probably on Tuesday.

According to Himayani, allegations are being made against him at many places on social media since February 22, 2026. It is being said that he had direct or indirect business, financial, personal or any other relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Also linked to his crimes.
They also alleged that Realm Partners LLC, where Himayani worked, received funding, economic benefits or misappropriation from Epstein or his associates. Along with a person named Robert Millard, he played a role in bringing down a big bank, Lehman Brothers.

Himayani says that all these allegations are completely false, malicious and there is no evidence of any kind against them. It is written in his case that some people (defendant no. 1 to 14 and many unknown people) have deliberately spread these false things. They want to incite anger among people by using edited videos, misleading captions and fake thumbnails. This has hurt his honor by going viral on social media.
