Washington, March 16. US President Donald Trump has strongly attacked the American media and the Iranian government for spreading misinformation. President Trump alleged that Iran is trying to win the propaganda battle only with the help of fake videos produced by AI. He cautioned that ‘AI’ is being used by Iran as a deadly weapon in information warfare to spread confusion globally.

Taking aim at Iran, US President Donald Trump said, “Iran has long been considered a master of media manipulation and public relations. They are ineffective and weak militarily, but they are really good at feeding misinformation to the fake news media. Now, AI has become another disinformation weapon that Iran uses very well. They are getting decimated day by day.” Trump further said in the post that Iran is showing fake boats and showing how these boats were firing at different ships in the sea, which look very nice, powerful and dangerous, but these are not boats at all. This is all false information meant to show how strong their already defeated army is!

Responding sharply to US media reporting, President Trump said, “The Wall Street Journal’s report was completely misleading claiming that five US refueling planes were seriously damaged in the Iranian attack, while the reality is the opposite. Four of these planes are completely safe and in service. Only one plane has suffered partial damage, which after repairs will be ready to fly again soon. The buildings and ships shown on fire are on fire. No; this is fake news created by AI. For example, Iran, working in collaboration with the fake news media, is showing our great USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, one of the world’s largest and most iconic ships, burning out of control in the ocean.”

The US President has said that treason charges should be imposed against the media outlets which have spread such fake news. He said, “The truth is that Iran is collapsing and the only wars they win are the ones they create through AI and which are spread by corrupt media outlets. The radical leftwing press knows this very well, but still continues to spread false stories and lies.” Targeting the American media, he said that their approval rating is so low because of false news. These media institutions have no credibility left.

The US President also said that he is glad that Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr is reviewing the licenses of these corrupt and highly biased news organizations. According to him, these institutions get free use of the American airwaves, but they use it to spread misinformation in the news and in many of their programs. Trump taunted that late-night show hosts get huge salaries despite poor ratings and, as he used to say on his show The Apprentice, they are never fired.
