BCCI Naman Awards 2026: Lifetime Achievement Award to Rahul Dravid, Roger Binny and Mithali Raj, Shubman Gill also honored

Indian cricket legends were honored for their contributions at the prestigious Naman Awards 2026 ceremony of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). On this occasion, former Indian captain and former head coach Rahul Dravid, 1983 World Cup winning team member Roger Binny and former Indian women’s team captain Mithali Raj were honored with the C.K. Naidu was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.

In this ceremony held on Sunday, former BCCI Secretary and current ICC chief Jai Shah presented this honor to these great players. In view of his long and important contribution to Indian cricket, the Board honored him with this prestigious award.

In the ceremony, the current players were also honored for their excellent performance. India’s Test and ODI team captain Shubman Gill was chosen the Best International Cricketer of the Year for the second time. Indian women’s team’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana won the title of Best Women International Cricketer for the fifth time.

Those who performed brilliantly in domestic cricket were also honoured. Mumbai received the award for the best team of domestic cricket, while Ulhas Gandhi was chosen the best umpire of domestic cricket. Apart from this, many young and experienced players like Shefali Verma, Harshit Rana, Shri Charani, Deepti Sharma and Ayush Mhatre were also honored with BCCI awards in different categories.

The dominance of Karnataka players was also seen in this function. McNeil Noronha to C.K. Received the award for scoring the most runs in the Nayudu Trophy (Under-23), while Jagadeesha Suchith was honored for taking the most wickets in the Plate Group of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy. Suchith currently plays for Nagaland team.

Indian teams that performed brilliantly at the international level were also honored in the programme. The men’s team that won the 2025 Champions Trophy and this year’s T20 World Cup received the honour. Along with this, the Indian teams that won the Women’s ODI World Cup and Under-19 Men’s and Women’s World Cup were also honored on this occasion.

Many big players and legends of the Indian cricket world were present in this annual function of BCCI. The event is held every year to recognize outstanding performances and long-term contributions to Indian cricket.
