Funds transferred through DBT to the accounts of 3791 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in urban areas.

Under the ambitious scheme of the Central and State Government, an important initiative was taken towards providing permanent house to every poor family. The grant amount of about one thousand crore rupees was transferred to the bank accounts of 90 thousand beneficiaries by the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath by pressing the button through DBT.
This program of the Chief Minister was telecast live in the Collectorate Auditorium, where the beneficiaries present heard and appreciated the Chief Minister’s address. On this occasion, acceptance certificates were distributed to the beneficiaries by Sadar MLA Bhupesh Choubey, District Magistrate BN Singh, Additional District Magistrate (V/R) Vagish Kumar Shukla and Municipal Council President Ruby Prasad.
Sadar MLA Bhupesh Choubey said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to provide a permanent roof to every poor family. To realize the same resolution, grant funds have been transferred by the Chief Minister through DBT to the accounts of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
He said that now no poor family will be forced to live in kutcha houses. Municipal Council President Ruby Prasad said that funds have been transferred to the accounts of 3791 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the urban area of Sonbhadra district. Now, without any discrimination, the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being provided to all the eligible poor families, so that every family will be able to get a permanent roof.
District Magistrate BN Singh said that necessary action is being ensured in the district as per the guidelines received by the state government regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, so that the eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits of the scheme in a time bound manner. The program was successfully conducted by Project Director DUDA Sudhanshu Shekhar Sharma.
