Today is the birth anniversary of the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat, many leaders including CM Yogi paid tribute.
New Delhi. The entire nation is remembering India’s first CDS (Chief of Defense Staff) General Bipin Rawat. On this occasion, many prominent leaders also remembered him and paid tribute. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari posted on social media platform ‘X’ on Monday, “Humble greetings to the country’s first Defense Chief Padma Vibhushan General Bipin Rawat on his birth anniversary.”

Union Minister of State and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Choudhary wrote in the post, “Respectful tribute to the country’s first Chief of Defense Staff, Padma Vibhushan General Bipin Rawat, on his birth anniversary. He dedicated every moment of his life to enhancing the glory of the country and strengthening the forces.” Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote in his post, “Humble tribute to the brave son of Mother India, the country’s first CDS and ‘Padma Vibhushan’ General Bipin Rawat on his birth anniversary. His contribution in realizing the concept of nation’s security, military strength and self-reliant India will always be remembered.”
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also remembered Bipin Rawat. He posted, “On the birth anniversary of India’s first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, who dedicated his entire life in the service of Mother India, symbol of indomitable courage, devotion to duty and patriotism, pride of military land Uttarakhand, decorated with Padma Vibhushan, a tribute to General Bipin Rawat on his birth anniversary. His dedication towards protecting and serving the nation will always be an inspiration for all of us.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote, “Our tribute to India’s first Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat ji, on his birth anniversary. A symbol of indomitable courage and unparalleled military prowess, General Rawat ji played an incomparable role in modernizing the Indian Army and strengthening the security apparatus. His supreme dedication and visionary leadership in the service of the motherland will always be remembered by every countryman.”
Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa also paid tribute to General Bipin Rawat on his birth anniversary. He wrote, “Your dedication, courage and indomitable leadership towards the security of the nation will always inspire all of us. Your contribution towards national service will always be remembered.” Paying tribute to Bipin Rawat, Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi wrote, “His unwavering devotion towards the defense of the nation, amazing leadership abilities and courageous personality are a source of inspiration for every Indian. The country will always remember with pride his invaluable contribution and sacrifice in the service of the country.”
