Donald Trump verbally attacked the Supreme Court and Fed Chair Jerome Powell, expressed displeasure over the tariff decision.

US President Donald Trump launched a sharp attack on the decision of the US Supreme Court, in which an important decision related to tariffs was taken. Trump accused the court that this decision was weakening his administration’s projects, which were being done to protect American economic interests.

In his rhetoric, Trump also accused Jerome Powell, who heads the Federal Reserve, of financial mismanagement in connection with a project in Washington DC.

Trump said in a lengthy post on Truth Social, “The decision that was most important to me was the tariffs! The Court knew how desperate I was for this victory, but it still decided that this decision would, perhaps, be in favor of the countries and companies that have taken advantage of America for decades.”

He further said, “Our Supreme Court has made these countries very happy, but as the Court said, I have every right to impose tariffs, and I have started implementing them in some other form.”

The president thanked the three Supreme Court justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh for their “wisdom and courage” as they appeared in the case. Trump also alleged that the Supreme Court is now politically influenced and that Justices appointed by Democrats vote together in important matters.

Regarding the 2020 presidential election, Trump again made his old argument that this election was illegal and the judiciary did not accept the legal documents related to the election. “Democrats always unite on the court, no matter how strong the case, whereas Republicans do not,” he said.

Additionally, Trump accused Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell of financial mismanagement in the Federal Reserve Complex Journal in Washington. “Court Republicans and I have always been treated unfairly, and have always protected people who should not have been protected,” Trump said.

The President also criticized U.S. District Justice Judge James Boasberg, alleging that his decisions are politically motivated, and that matters related to the Federal Reserve Project need to be investigated.

Trump said the tariff decision was part of a series of politically motivated mistakes made during his presidency.

The President also said he would continue to pursue alternative tariff mechanisms to protect U.S. economic interests and prioritize policies to strengthen the country’s trade position.
