Pakistan Airstrike Afghanistan: Serious allegations and counter-allegations have started between the two countries regarding the air strikes carried out by Pakistan on Afghanistan’s capital Kabul late on Monday night. According to Afghanistan’s deputy government spokesman, the Pakistani military targeted a de-addiction hospital in Kabul, where drug addicts were treated.

After this attack, many videos have surfaced on social media and local media, showing scenes of devastation and chaos. An Afghan Health Ministry spokesperson claimed that the death toll in the attack has risen to more than 400. However, it is believed that the true number of dead and injured may increase further.

Pakistan rejected the allegations

On the other hand, Pakistan has completely rejected these allegations. Pakistani officials say that the air strikes carried out on Monday in Kabul and some areas of eastern Afghanistan were targeted only at terrorist hideouts.

The Afghan health ministry said 200 people were killed and hundreds of others injured after Pakistani airstrikes hit a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul.

According to Pakistan’s Information Ministry, these attacks targeted military bases and terrorist structures of the Afghan Taliban present in Kabul and Nangarhar region and Pakistani terrorist organizations operating in Afghanistan. The ministry claimed that stores of technical equipment and ammunition were present at these locations, which were being used in attacks against Pakistani civilians.

News of shelling from Khost province also

Meanwhile, reports of shelling have also come from Khost province of Afghanistan. Mustaghfir Gubuz, spokesman for the governor of Khost province, said that at night the Pakistani army fired mortars on Nari village in Gubuz district, killing a woman and a child. Apart from this, two other children also lost their lives in the shelling that took place in an area called Dubai.

Shamshad Television reporter Shah Agha Saadat says that the security forces are currently engaged in removing the bodies of those killed and rescuing the injured after the airstrike of the Pakistani military regime.

Government spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said on the social media platform X that a civilian’s house was attacked during shelling in the eastern province of Nuristan, killing one person.
