Poets add color to Holi Milan ceremony
Naini, Prayagraj.
Holi Milan ceremony was organized under the joint aegis of Rashtriya Pratibha Vikas Manch and Yamunapar Vikas Samiti in which poets tied shamans with their creations. Dr. Amarnath Singh presided over the program organized in Deori village on Sunday which lasted till late evening.
Regional councilor Raja Bharatiya was the chief guest and Gajendra Pratap Singh, coordinator of Yamunapar Development Committee, was present as the special guest. The program was conducted by Jagdamba Prasad Shukla. The Kavi Sammelan started with organizer Ramnath Tripathi Rasikesh’s Saraswati Vandana doing ‘Maatu Aa Jaiye’ with Veena.
Dr. Sabrej Ahmed’s poem ‘Ghul Jaaye Rang Mein Pyaar To Samjho Holi Hai’ and Dr. Rajendra Shukla’s composition ‘Khuske Buch Gulle Milie Roli Lagaiye’ was highly appreciated. The composition of Jagdamba Shukla, who is conducting the show, ‘Don’t cut the wings of the golden bird, don’t lick the soles of the traitors’, after Dr. Amarnath Singh, Bechanlal Vinodi and Asharfilal Patel also presented their compositions. The program was addressed by Councilors Raja Bharatiya and Gajendra Pratap Singh.
All the poets were honored by giving them corsets, insignia and certificates of honor. Regional people including Bhagwati Prasad Tiwari, Krishnakumar Tripathi, Guru Prasad, Anurag Tripathi, Baijnath Sharma, Arun Pandey, Bablu were present in the program.
