He believes that this time the Lucknow team has a great balance of batting, all-rounder and bowling, which can make them a strong contender for the title.

According to Aakash Chopra, Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh can handle the responsibility of opening the team. Both these batsmen have the ability to score runs quickly in the powerplay and can give a strong start to the team. Nicholas Pooran can be placed at number three, who can put pressure on the opposition bowlers in the initial overs with his aggressive batting. After this, captain Rishabh Pant can be seen batting at number four while taking command of the team. The responsibility of Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad can be important in the lower middle order, who are known for playing big shots and can score fast runs in the last overs.

Shahbaz Ahmed can play at number seven in the role of all-rounder. Along with useful batting, he will also give additional options to the team with his left arm spin.
