Uproar over obscene lyrics, Nora Fatehi’s song ‘Sarke Chunar’ removed from YouTube

Tezzbuzz Desk – The new song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ from the upcoming film ‘KD: The Devil’ has been embroiled in controversy as soon as it was released. This song filmed on Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt was being trolled heavily on social media due to its alleged obscene and double meaning lyrics. In view of the increasing opposition, the makers have finally made this song private on YouTube.

Controversy started as soon as it was released

As soon as the song was released, many users objected to its lyrics and visuals. People said that the words and scenes used in the song are quite provocative and obscene. Many people on social media criticized the makers calling it “controversial” and “double meaning” content.

As the controversy escalated, the matter also reached the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. A complaint was filed against it, after which the makers removed the song from YouTube. Now the message “Video is not available, this video is private” is visible in place of this song on the platform.

Nora Fatehi’s dance also in discussion

In this item number, Nora Fatehi was seen dancing wearing ghagra-choli. The hook step of the song, which uses her pallu, quickly went viral on social media. However, regarding this step and visuals, many people also accused the makers of spreading obscenity.

Sanjay Dutt is also seen with Nora in this song, while its lyrics are written by Rakib Alam.

Celebs also expressed their displeasure

The controversy regarding the song increased further when the National Human Rights Commission of India (NHRC) also issued a notice regarding the alleged objectionable lyrics in it.

Singer Armaan Malik described it on social media as a “new example of decline” in songwriting. Apart from this, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh also gave a strong reaction opposing this song.
