Tel Aviv. Iran’s Defense Ministry has admitted that its top security chief Ali Larijani has been killed in an Israeli attack. Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli media had claimed that the Israeli army targeted Iran’s ‘Supreme National Security Council’ secretary and top security chief Ali Larijani in an attack in which he was killed.
Israel launched a series of attacks in Tehran, Shiraz and Tabriz and targeted missile production sites and command centers. Israeli officials gave this information. Meanwhile, there are also reports that Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani is also among those hit by the attack. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they were taking stock of the damage to assess the impact of the attacks.

Israeli army chief Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said in a statement that “significant elimination achievements” were recorded in the overnight military operations, The Times of Israel reported. These signs of General Zameer are being linked to the attack on Ali Larijani. He said that these actions could have a deep impact on the future developments of the war.
According to Israeli media, the army targeted a safe haven in Tehran, where people allegedly associated with Palestinian groups were present. The report claims that extremists from Gaza and the West Bank were also present at this base, who have been targeted.
It is noteworthy that Larijani was a very influential face of Iran’s politics and security system. He currently served as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran and his role was considered extremely important in determining the strategic policies of the country.
