Affidavit for Kedarnath darshan to Sara Ali Khan, stir due to new rules!

Every year lakhs of devotees reach Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham, but this time a big change has come to the fore even before the beginning of the journey. Now the devotees coming to these Dhams for darshan will have to prove their faith, for which an affidavit will have to be given. After this decision, the biggest discussion is going on about Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan.

On this, Badri-Kedar Temple Committee Chairman Hemant Dwivedi said that if Sara Ali Khan also comes to visit Kedarnath Dham, then she will also have to give an affidavit of her faith in Sanatan Dharma. Only after this will they be allowed to enter the temple.

In fact, a major decision was taken in the meeting of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee, in which it was decided that the entry of non-Sanatanis will be prohibited in many temples including Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Regarding this decision, Hemant Dwivedi said that if a person, irrespective of his background, expresses his faith in Sanatan Dharma and gives an affidavit for the same, then he can be allowed to visit the temple.

Further giving an example, he said that if a celebrity like Sara Ali Khan also comes to Kedarnath, expresses her faith in Sanatan and gives an affidavit, then she will not be stopped from having darshan.

It is noteworthy that Sara Ali Khan is considered to have a special connection with Kedarnath. He started his film career with the film ‘Kedarnath’, which was also shot in this area. Since then she keeps coming to Kedarnath from time to time. Many pictures and videos of him offering prayers in the temple are viral on social media.

Apart from Sara Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandes has also visited Kedarnath. She came to Kedarnath in the year 2023. At the same time, film actress Nusrat Bharucha also reached Kedarnath in 2024. TV star Hina Khan has also visited Kedarnath.

Under the new rule, an affidavit will be made available to the devotees in the temple premises itself, by filling which they will be able to give proof of their faith. Only after this they will get entry into the temple. After the implementation of this system, changes may be seen in the process of philosophy.
