Mojtaba Khamenei Ceasefire Rejected: The ongoing fierce conflict in the Middle East has now reached a point where the paths to peace seem to be closed. Iran’s new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei has bluntly rejected international proposals to reduce tensions or establish a ceasefire with America and Israel.
no time for peace
According to Reuters report, two mediator countries had proposed a ceasefire to Iran to reduce tension. However, Mojtaba Khamenei rejected the proposal in his first high-level security session, clarifying that this is ‘not the time for peace’ Rather, it is time to intensify the war and respond to the enemies. He said in a stern tone that it is mandatory to defeat both America and Israel.
Basij chief and Ali Larijani killed
On one hand, Mojtaba Khamenei is talking about continuing the war, while on the other hand, Israel has claimed to have hit his leadership structure hard. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a statement saying that the Israeli Army has killed General Ghulam Reza Suleimani, the head of ‘Basij’, a paramilitary unit of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, in an airstrike on Monday.
According to Israel, Soleimani was the main strategist of massive violence and repression during internal protests in Iran. Along with this, Israel has also claimed to have killed Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani, although at present different reports are coming out regarding his actual condition.
UAE oil plant attacked
Tehran has not only rejected the ceasefire but has also intensified its retaliation. Iran has begun targeting the energy infrastructure of its Gulf neighbors. According to the latest information, Iran has attacked an oil plant in Fujairah, located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Defense experts believe that this conflict is no longer limited to just two countries but is having a deep impact on the energy security and global stability of the entire world.

Tehran’s stance becomes tougher
Several top leaders of Iran have been targeted in recent weeks, dealing a blow to its leadership structure. Despite this, Tehran’s stance seems to be becoming tougher instead of bending. Analysts believe that this statement of Mojtaba Khamenei indicates that the war may become longer and more complex.
