In this audio, there is a shocking revelation that Iran’s new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei narrowly escaped the joint US-Israeli attack. On February 28, 2026, Iran’s then Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a missile attack under Israel’s ‘Operation Epic Fury’, but his son Mojtaba Khamenei came out of the building at the same time, saving his life.

According to the report of British newspaper ‘The Telegraph’, this audio has been leaked from a secret meeting of senior Iranian religious leaders and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders on March 12.

What was said in the leaked audio?

In the meeting, protocol head of the late leader’s office, Mazaher Hussaini told that Mojtaba was inside the building with his father. He had to go to the courtyard for some work just seconds before the missile attack. As soon as they had come out, three Israeli Blue Sparrow ballistic missiles were fired at the building.

One missile fell on the main residence, the second on the upper floor residence of Mojtaba and the third on the house of her brother-in-law Misbah Al-Huda Bagheri Kani. Many senior officials and family members were killed in the attack.

The audio claimed that the body of Iranian military chief Mohammad Shirazi was disintegrated into pieces. The head of his brother-in-law Bagheri Kani was cut into two parts. Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the leg, while his wife Haddad died on the spot. The late leader’s second son Mustafa Khamenei and his wife also narrowly escaped.

Speculation increased on Mojtaba’s health

After the audio leak, speculation regarding the health and whereabouts of Mojtaba Khamenei has intensified. He has not been seen in public even once since the attack. US President Donald Trump said on Monday that there is great uncertainty about the status of the Iranian leader.

Trump said, “Many people are saying that his face is badly disfigured, he has lost a leg and he is seriously injured. Some are even spreading news of his death. We have not seen him at all.”
