The famous song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ from the film ‘KD – The Devil’ has been removed from YouTube after a huge controversy. This song was present on the platform till March 16, but its Hindi version was removed on the morning of March 17 amid continuous protests and demands for a ban. Sanjay Dutt was also seen in this item song filmed on Nora Fatehi. There was a lot of criticism on social media regarding the lyrics of the song. Many users called it obscene and double meaning. There was a continuous demand to ban the song in the comment section.
Controversial words became the reason
The song was written by Rakib Alam. People expressed strong objection to some of its lyrics. Regarding the words and gestures used in the song, users said that it is not suitable for family audiences.
Big names also raised questions
National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanungo also raised questions on this controversy. He said that it is difficult to watch such a song sitting with the family. At the same time, singer Armaan Malik also expressed his displeasure on social media and said that the level of commercial songwriting has fallen considerably.
Protest intensified on social media
Users on YouTube and other platforms heavily criticized the song. Some people even compared it with Bhojpuri songs and said that it is “not double meaning, just plain obscene”.
