A viral post on the social media platform of X has claimed that famous streamer and YouTuber IshowSpeed has been invited to renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s wedding ceremony. With Ronaldo set to tie the knot to Georgina Rodríguez, it remains to be seen whether there is any truth attached to the viral post from X.

IshowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, had been invited to the veteran footballer’s wedding according to an unverified claim on X. It sounded believable as the biggest names are likely to grace the occasion but it came from a football meme account that’s known for making memes instead of providing factual information. IshowSpeed’s relation to the claim emerged due to an incident that took place a few months ago as he reportedly jokingly asked for an invitation during a live stream in November 2025 but he has not been invited for the same.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez likely to get married in a private ceremony
Having gotten engaged in August 2025, the power couple will reportedly get married in Portugal following the FIFA World Cup 2026, which is set to be hosted by USA and Mexico in June. According to The Times of India, only close friends and relatives will attend the occasion and it will stay away from media attention. Rodriguez is an Agentine-Spanish model or influencer, aged 32. She has been dating the Portugese footballer since 2017 and reportedly met at the Gucci store in Madrid.
Rodriguez’s Instagram followers count has stretched to 72 million and has previously worked in Massimo Dutti and Gucci. Notably she also starred in the Netflix Reality series I am Georgina which is about her life, career and family. As for Ronaldo, he last played for Al Nassr agaisnt Al Fayha on February, 28. As of February 2026, the 41-year-old has netted 965 goals and is actively targeting the milestone of 1000.
