The US President, isolated over the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, expressed dissatisfaction with the French and British positions.

Washington: US President Donald Trump has expressed dissatisfaction over French President Emmanuel Macron’s stance of not joining the proposed coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said that he has spoken to Macron on this issue and gives him 8 marks on a scale of 0 to 10. He said that France is not perfect, but I think they will help. During lunch with Trump Kennedy Center board members, Trump called the US military the strongest military in the world and said that America does not need anyone. He stressed that we are the most powerful nation in the world and our military is the strongest.

During this, Trump also expressed his displeasure with Britain and said that he is not happy with Britain. He expressed hope that Britain will join the alliance with full enthusiasm. Trump said that we have been protecting these countries through NATO for years. Putin is afraid of us, not Europe. Referring to the US military operation ‘Operation Epic Fury’ against Iran, Trump claimed that America has kept the Strait of Hormuz in a safe condition. He said that Iran has always used this strait as an economic weapon, but now this will not last long.

Referring to the US strikes on Kharg Island, Trump said military bases were destroyed, but oil infrastructure was left intact. He claimed to have virtually eliminated Iran’s defense base, missile, and drone capabilities. According to Trump, more than 30 mine-laying vessels have been destroyed and more than 7,000 targets across Iran have been struck, leading to a 90 percent reduction in ballistic missile launches and 95 percent reduction in drone attacks.

He said that more than 100 Iranian naval vessels have been sunk or destroyed since the war began. Trump claimed that the Iranian Air Force, Navy and leadership have been almost completely destroyed. Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told reporters that Trump looks forward to meeting Chinese leader Xi Jinping later this month, but the dates are subject to change. His priority is the success of Operation Epic Fury. Levitt expected Britain to take the first and quickest steps to help in Hormuz and said that Trump will continue to seek support from European allies.
