Harmanpreet Kaur gets advantage in ICC rankings, Smriti Mandhana’s reign continues, star batsman is at the top

ICC Rankings Update: Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has gained one place in the latest ICC women’s ODI rankings. She has now reached seventh position. Whereas vice-captain Smriti Mandhana remains at the top position. New Zealand’s Sophie Devine has slipped two places to ninth place, while Jemimah Rodrigues remains at 12th place. Maddy Green’s spectacular jump

New Zealand batsman Maddy Green performed brilliantly against Zimbabwe and scored 94 runs. Thanks to his innings, the team won by 200 runs and won the series 3-0. With this performance, Green has moved up five places to 17th, which is the best ranking of her career.

Amelia Kerr’s all-round performance

New Zealand’s all-rounder Amelia Kerr scored 80 runs in the last match and also took five wickets for 22 runs. For this brilliant performance he was adjudged the best player of the match and series. She has now moved from 21st to joint 19th position.

Changes in rankings of other players

New Zealand’s Isabelle Gage has moved up three places to 61st. Meanwhile, fast bowler Rosemary Mayer has jumped seven places to reach 58th position and Bree Illing has moved up five places to reach 79th position. In the T20 rankings, Amelia Kerr has retained the eighth position on the basis of her innings of 78 runs. Georgia Plimmer has moved from 50th to 41st after her inning of 63 runs.
