Lucknow, Read: In the 21st Babu Banarasi Das A Division Cricket League, UP Timber Cricket Club and REPL Crusaders Cricket Club performed brilliantly and won their respective matches and secured full points in the matches played on Monday. UP Timber Cricket Club defeated LDA Cricket Club by six wickets, while REPL Crusaders defeated Dhruv Cricket Academy by 94 runs.
Batting first in the match played at Sports Galaxy B Ground, REPL Crusaders Cricket Club scored a huge score of 300 runs for six wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. On behalf of the team, Yashasvi Mishra played a brilliant inning of 75 runs in 69 balls with the help of three fours and five sixes. Whereas Shashwat Pandey put the team in a strong position by scoring 72 runs with the help of seven fours and three sixes. While chasing the target, Dhruv Cricket Academy team was all out for 206 runs in 39.4 overs. Shashwat Pandey bowled brilliantly for REPL Crusaders and took five wickets and was adjudged man of the match.
UP Timber’s victory due to Vishwajeet’s explosive innings
In the second match played at Sports Galaxy A Ground, LDA Cricket Club, batting first, scored 175 runs for nine wickets in 40 overs. Aditya Pandey contributed 51 runs on behalf of the team. On behalf of UP Timber Cricket Club, Priyanshu Srivastava took four wickets and Vishwajeet Mishra took three wickets.
In reply, UP Timber Cricket Club achieved the target by losing four wickets in 21.3 overs. In the team’s victory, man of the match Vishwajeet Mishra played a stormy innings of 81 runs in 41 balls with the help of 12 fours and four sixes.
