T20 APL: Yamuna Super Kings beat Betwa, Aman-Abhinav were man of the match
Ayodhya, immortal thoughts. In the Ayodhya Premier League (APL) T-20 on Tuesday, Aman Ali of Manorama Marbles batted brilliantly and scored a century in just 66 balls and remained not out. In the matches played, Manorama Marbles and Yamuna Super Kings strengthened their position in the pool by registering wins. Former Vijay Trophy player Rashid Hussain Chand awarded Aman and Abhinav as man-of-the-match.
The first match was played between Yamuna Super Kings and Betwa Blasters teams on Tuesday at the cricket stadium located at Dr. Ambedkar International Sports Complex in Dabhasemer. In this, Yamuna Super Kings won the toss and batted first and scored 137 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. In this, Shubh Khanna scored 38, Abhijeet 37, Satyendra 32, Vinayak scored 14 runs. Amar of Betwa Blasters took two wickets, Ashutosh and Dhananjay took one wicket each. In reply, Betwa Blasters came out to bat and were reduced to 125 runs after losing eight wickets in the stipulated overs.
Yamuna team won by 12 runs. Murari of Betwa Blasters took 24 wickets, Abhinav and Umesh of Super Kings took one wicket each. Abhinav Tiwari of Yamuna team was the man of the match. In the second match, Manorama Marbles batted and scored 182 runs losing three wickets in 20 overs. Aman Ali played a brilliant century. Aman scored unbeaten 101 runs on 66 balls with the help of 10 fours and four sixes and was the man of the match.
Ansh contributed 50 runs. Hindon Titan’s Shailendra took two wickets and Akash took one wicket. In reply, Hindon Titan team, who came to bat, could score only 176 runs after losing nine wickets in the stipulated overs. Shekhar scored 55, Hrithik scored 47, Vikas scored 30, Yashovardhan scored 16 and Sachin scored 13 runs. Manorama’s Ayush took three wickets, Rishendra, Aaqib and Tushar took one wicket each. On this occasion, DCA District Secretary Umer Ahmed, Organizing Joint Secretary Bal Kishan Nishad, officials and sports lovers were present.
