Instagram’s new AI voice effect
Meta is constantly striving to improve its social media platforms. Recently, Instagram introduced a new AI voice effect feature for its direct messages (DM). This is especially for those users who want to spice up their conversations and try something new.
What are the features of this feature?
This is not just a simple voice changer. This AI tool of Instagram understands the rhythm, tone and emotions of your voice. If you are speaking angrily or jokingly, that emotion is also expressed effectively.
Interactive Reply: When you send a message to someone with a voice effect, the receiver sees which effect you’ve selected. He can give the same answer immediately by tapping on it.
How to use AI voice effects?
– First, open a friend’s chat thread on your Instagram.
– Then, tap the voice message recording button in the message composer.
– Now you will see new voice effect button, tap on it.
– Next, record your message. Before sending, you can tap on the various available effects (e.g. robot, character, AI) to hear how your voice sounds.
This feature has been included in the list of AI tools of Instagram, which already includes features like AI backdrop, AI stickers and AI chatbots. Instagram wants users to express their creativity within the app itself and not resort to any third-party apps. This feature is being gradually rolled out and will appear on your Instagram soon.
