of india T-20 World Cup Winner Shivam Dubey had traveled by train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai after winning the final against New Zealand, after which he came into limelight and now he himself has come forward and broken his silence on this matter for the first time. Dubey told that he had taken this decision because the flights were fully booked and he wanted to reach home as soon as possible so that he could meet his four-year-old son Ayaan and two-year-old daughter Mehvish.
Currently, a video is going viral on social media in which it can be seen that Dubey explains why he decided to travel by train. Dubey said, I was very anxious that I would meet my father and the child. You must have heard that story about the train, so this was the reason for my coming home early because the life I have had, after the above, if I say thank you to anyone, it is my father. What he has done is very important to me. That’s why when I came, the first thing I did was to meet him and present him with the medal and meet the children.”
Earlier speaking to The Indian Express, Dubey explained why he had chosen the train journey. Dubey said, “There were no flights available, so I decided to take a train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai early in the morning. We could have also gone by road but the train was faster. I, my wife and a friend decided to go by train. 3rd AC tickets were available, so we decided to book them. Everyone we spoke to, family and friends, was worried. What if someone recognized me at the station or inside the train?”
