A French automobile manufacturer Renault India has officially launched the all-new Renault Duster SUV in India. The starting ex-showroom price of this SUV has been set at Rs 10.49 lakh and deliveries have also started across the country. Interestingly, the SUV is available at an introductory price of ₹10.29 lakh through R-Pass pre-bookings till March 31, 2026.

The new Duster is based on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP) with robust construction, superior performance and is specially designed for Indian roads. The SUV offers high ground clearance, good approach and departure angles and is capable of off-roading as well.

Powerful engine and performance

The SUV is powered by a Turbo TCe 160 engine that produces 163 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. It is offered with a choice of 6-speed manual and 6-speed DCT gearboxes. The ride and handling of the vehicle has been tested internationally.

A feature packed SUV

The new Duster features a 10.1-inch OpenR Link infotainment system with Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play support. Other features include a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control and 17 ADAS features.

The response to the hybrid version has been overwhelming

The E-Tech Strong Hybrid version gets a 1.8-litre engine and a 1.4 kWh battery. Up to 80% driving in EV mode is possible in the city and this version has received great response from customers. Hybrid units for 2026 are already fully booked.

The new Renault Duster is available in five variants namely Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+ and Iconic. Apart from this, a Launch Edition with a special design has also been introduced.
